CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme GXiVR8020A VR PC Review – Boost Your Gaming Experience

The CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme GXiVR8020A VR PC is titled as Amazon’s desktop gaming PC of choice, and it is quite clear why. For the entire package, it might still cost you a pretty penny, but when you look at what you’re going to get out of shelling out all that cash is a more-than-capable gaming experience. With its hardware specs and features, you will get a desktop PC that is optimized for gaming. Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that it is VR-ready as well.

The CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme GXiVR8020A VR PC is an Amazon Exclusive Gaming System

The CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme GXiVR8020A VR PC makes use of an Intel 6th Generation Core i5-6420P 2.8GHz quad-core 14nm processor for its processing prowess, and it also makes use of the AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB ‘Polaris’ video card that just recently came out. It is then topped off with an Intel B150-based motherboard, 8GB of DDR4 memory right off the bat, and a large 1TB 7200 RPM hard drive. It also has a 24x DVD-RW Optical Drive, and a 600W power supply.

What’s surprising is that the CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme GXiVR8020A is being sold at a lower price as compared to the final price tag when computing all those parts together. It even comes pre-installed with Windows 10, along with all the necessary drivers to make everything run properly. It should be noted that CyberPowerPC may change brands because of availability, but this model will still, and always will have an Intel B150 chipset board, 1TB of hard drive, and 7GB of DDR4 for its memory.

While it does present an impressive array of hardware for gaming goodness, what it does not have is a backlit keyboard (it comes packaged with a non-backlit keyboard). Still, you will get an ambidextrous gaming mouse, an 802.11 AC wireless USB adapter (has no Bluetooth support, however), and a Windows 10 installation disc with all the supporting user guides and manuals.

Even though the CyberPowerPC Gamer Xtreme GXiVR8020A VR PC does seem pretty complete, there’s one thing that is absolutely missing in the package – a display. This means that you still have to provide your own computer monitor for this one. Nonetheless, even though you might have to shell out more to get your own monitor for this PC (if you don’t have one yet), it is still a pretty sweet deal, especially considering that the entire unit costs less than what it is actually worth.
