The first public beta for iOS 10 has just recently been released, and there are a bunch of new features that would make Apple device users jump with excitement and joy. Furthermore, there are even some hidden surprises that come in as new features that can become total game-changers. Should you want to experience the public beta, you can sign up for the Apple Beta Software Program. However, do know that when you decide to install this beta release of the latest Apple operating system, you need to embrace all the bugs that come with it. After all, it’s not call a beta release for nothing.

One of the first features that might excite you when you have iOS 10 is the ability to customize your own widgets. With the latest Apple operating system, you will now be able to gain access to a screen full of widgets. To access this, all you need to do is slide right from the Home screen, or in the Today view of the Notification center. In here, you will be able to gain access to widgets from apps such as Calendar and Weather. There are also other widgets available from third-party app developers, such as that of Spring and VSCO.

You may have already known about Memories in the new Photos app, but with the public beta version of iOS 10, it will now add a new feature wherein it will stitch together photos and videos to create themed montages. Furthermore, you will now be able to take advantage of its new facial recognition feature. You can now search your camera roll for specific friends, or even all photos of yourself. Therefore, if you ever need to post a throwback selfie, you now have no problem doing so.

Fan of rocking out with your favorite tunes but don’t know the words to the song? Worry no more; Apple Music now has integrated song lyrics. Therefore, if you want to karaoke to the Bohemian Rhapsody, then all you have to do is access the app and the lyrics will be displayed there. You can just pull up while in the app to reveal the lyrics module which is just above the Up Next section. You can also hide this module if you think you’ve memorized the lyrics already.

There are a bunch of neat, interesting, and exciting new features that come bundled along the iOS 10. In fact, you can even record a lip synch, just like the popular Dubsmash app. What’s your favorite addition to the latest version of the iOS?
