Logitech M330 Silent Plus Review – Expensive for an Office Mouse

If you don’t want the annoying sounds of mouse clicks to be heard while you’re working on your computer, then perhaps the Logitech M330 Silent Plus might interest you. With that being said, this is a particular computer peripheral that won’t clack loudly when you click on it. This might become a worthy addition to your office, or even your home. However, it has a price tag that is higher than your average office mouse.

The Logitech M330 Silent Plus Doesn’t Clack When You Click

For its design, the Logitech M330 Silent Plus is pretty much standard as far as office mice go. The color scheme is that of shiny matte black with a rubberized section for gripping. Perhaps the only thing that breaks of its all-black exterior is a white Logitech logo clearly stamped right there, front-and-center. If you’re looking for a computer mouse that has more bells-and-whistles, then perhaps you might want to turn your wallets somewhere else. This peripheral’s design is as quite as its performance.

While it does look big from afar, know that it has really tiny dimensions, especially when you’re used to gaming mice. The M330 Silent Plus comes with measurements of 105.4 x 67.9 x 38.4-millimeters. The arc will allow you to operate the mouse comfortably, but this is for normal-sized hands. If you want to have a computer mouse that will allow you to place a full-palm grip, then know that it is practically impossible for this one; well, unless you’re a small child using this, that is. It should also be noted that this model is designed for right-hand use only, so lefties should also probably want to look elsewhere.

Do take note that this is made for office use, so there’s not a lot to expect. It has a 1,000 DPI sensor, which is quite on par with a lot of office mice on the market. However, if you’re fond of using displays with really high resolutions, then note that the DPI also needs to be increased. Hence, the general performance of the mouse is not that impressive when working with larger resolution monitors.

Speaking of its performance, even when working with rather low-resolution monitors, the Logitech M330 Silent Plus would sometimes fail to pick up some movements.  Even though it doesn’t happen a lot, you will still be able to get your work done, even with the inconsistent tracking. Overall, this particular office mouse would allow you to get things done silently, but there’s a lot of niggles to worry about to make it a good recommendation.
