The Logitech Wireless Mouse M510 Just… Works, and it Does so Pretty Well

When you say that the Logitech Wireless Mouse M510 works, it means that you don’t have to worry about searching for a mouse pad, or you have to look for a clean surface just for it to properly do its job. This is because the laser found in this unit can track on just about anything you place it on; these include carpet, wood, and even clothes. The connection does not do hiccups even at the slightest, even when you’re using it on glass or other mirrored surfaces. While this won’t bother with many people since you’re going to use it on a table, but for those who would use this with a laptop when you’re out-and-about to, say, a coffee shop that has glass surfaces, then with other, more traditional computer mice you would have a bit of a problem.

It should be noted that higher-priced models found on the market has this feature wherein you can place the mouse on practically anything and it will still work. What’s great about the M510 is that it is found in a reasonable price point. Furthermore, it even has a contour that will give your wrist a break while the rubber grips on the side do make for a soft landing for your pinky and thumb.

Even though the price is very reasonable, there is no shortage of buttons on this particular computer mouse. There are seven in total, and there are even many in the market that are found within the same price category that would only have three at most. You can customize the buttons with the use of the Logitech SetPoint software.

The two AA batteries that come with the standard packaging of the Logitech Wireless Mouse M510 is advertised to work for two years. Perhaps you can even extend the battery life when you turn the mouse off when you’re not using it. It can even work with just one battery, if ever if you’re in a bind. With all of these being said, and as mentioned earlier, this computer mouse works, and it works very well.
