The Satechi Aluminum Wireless Headphones is a pair of headphones that is made from a company known for making stylish audio equipment, and that notion certainly delivers with this one. Because of its beautiful appearance, it might make you skeptical about reaching for it and trying out the audio experience it can deliver. The good news is that it can deliver; it is able to offer a robust audio experience. However, those who are seeking a flatter and clearer response would not be able to find it here. This is a pair of headphones for bass lovers and bass heads only.
Those Looking for a Clearer Audio Response Won’t Find it on the Satechi Aluminum Wireless Headphones
Those who are interested in purchasing the Satechi Aluminum Wireless Headphones can get them in different color variations, them being gold, silver, or gray. One look at it, and you might be mistaken for thinking about it being the most comfortable pair of headphones on the planet. It is because its headband and earpads are heavily padded with soft leatherette. But in reality, and although they are still quite comfortable, they offer more firmness and security rather than utmost comfort. Still, you can play your favorite tracks for hours with this headphone and you won’t get tired of wearing it.
Its physical buttons are kept to a bare minimum as you can only find volume and Bluetooth controls found on the left earcup; the latter also functions as the device’s power button and the former doubles up as controls to navigate among tracks when you hold them down rather than tapping them.
The package also comes with a cable that will have controls that will allow you to play/pause tracks, and the cord is also intended for passive, wired listening. The detachable cable also has an inline mic for fielding calls. But what’s strange here is that the cable does not automatically unpair the headphones with your mobile device. Therefore, users beware as this might easily run down your mobile device’s battery when you forget to manually unpair both units.
For its audio response, the Satechi Aluminum Wireless Headphones is very heavy on the bass. It will please some, but not everyone. Therefore, with tracks that contain powerful sub-bass content, the drivers do not distort, which is pleasing, but the strong “kick” from the bass will please some. Those who are looking for a clearer audio response should look elsewhere, however.
