Toddy Cold Brew System Review – More Coffee on the Cheap

If there are times when you need more than just a cup of coffee in the morning as it could be that there are many members of your household that are frequent drinkers of the beverage, then you might want to check out the Toddy Cold Brew System. This is a bare bones coffeemaker, and it only consists of a plastic brewing container (which is essentially just a bucket), and that container is attached to a handle. At the bottom area of the container, you would find a small, recessed hole, along with a reusable felt filter pad. And that’s about it. While brewing coffee with this does not require any modern-day tech such as a buttons to automatically make the brew, the price to acquire it won’t make you complain about it.

The Toddy Cold Brew System is a Very Inexpensive Way to Create Large Batches of Coffee

On the downside, the Toddy Cold Brew System does not use paper filters, but the inclusion of the reusable filter will do the coffee-making machine some justice for a very good long while. Plugging the hole within is a small rubber stopper, and the lidless container will rest on top of a squat glass decanter.

In order to brew with the use of the Toddy Cold Brew System Coffee-Making Machine, it is as simple as it gets. First, just add 12-ounces of coarse coffee grounds into the container, which you would then combine with 56-ounces of cold water. Of course, you won’t throw everything together into the container all at once (because you can’t). Instead, what the instruction manual dictates is that you should stagger the ingredients. In other words, pour half of the grounds first, then half of the water, and repeat until you get an even mixture. This might take a bit of time and practice to get it right, but it won’t be long before you do.

While this is incredibly easy to use, the Toddy Cold Brew System does have some steep competition to fight over with within the incredibly budget-friendly space, like the Oxo Cold Brew. But what you can get is a large batch of coffee every time, which means that you will be able to satisfy the caffeine needs of practically every person within your household, and perhaps even have some left for later. All of this simplicity comes at a very compelling price and might even be an absolute must-buy for people who are serious about their brews.
