Call of Duty – XP Event Lets Fans Experience Everything

This weekend, from the time of writing, Call of Duty fans will be able to experience, well, everything for the three days during the already sold out XP Event in Los Angeles. Many fans are more eagerly awaiting for the chance to watch this year’s “Call of Duty World League Championship” at The Forum stadium. Aside from experiencing front-row seats to what could only be the largest event of the year for the popular first-person shoot ’em up title, those who were lucky enough to acquire tickets can even get in on some fun at the event location, such as a real zipline.

Aside from the zipline, other amenities that participants and guests will be able to enjoy during the Call of Duty event include paintball, laser tag, and even sumo wrestling. Mind you, these are all real and not just some digital experience that you might have probably assumed at first. Furthermore, there will be large tents that will be erected at The Forum’s parking lot for those who want to take a crack at hands-on multiplayer sessions for the upcoming iteration of the game, which is entitled Infinite Warfare. Aside from Infinite Warfare, fans will also be able to enjoy a remastered version of Modern Warfare, along with a new zombies mode, in those aforementioned tents. It should also be noted that these games will be available as part of the Infinite Warfare Legacy, Legacy Pro, and Digital Deluxe editions of the game, which will all come out on the 4th of November of this year.

It should also be noted that most of the demos that will be on the Call of Duty XP Event are primarily focused on multiplayer. Therefore, those who are looking to get a taste of the story mode might just have to wait for the actual release of the games instead. Nevertheless, Activision was reported to bring in a bit of variety into the mix of their multiplayer modes. Lead multiplayer designer of Infinite Warfare Joe Cecot told the following in a press briefing stated that they have concentrated on two aspects: the playspace and the player. Therefore, Combat Rigs can be enjoyed with six play styles, and each of them have different traits and payload options.

It was also stated that Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare that players will now be able to craft and build prototype weapons. These new equipment will also range in rarity like common, rare, legendary, and epic.
