Aside from the 58-cent pancakes, IHOP is also offering a stack of three pancakes per guest. The regular price for a short stack of buttermilk pancakes at the famous breakfast restaurant is $3.99. Hence, if you think that Amazon Prime is the only store that has deals for today, then think again. To wake up with an incredibly sweet deal with a tasty meal, prepare your breakfast taste buds when you get to the restaurant.

IT has been reported by New York’s Pix 11 that the International House of Pancakes and its representatives are encouraging its customers to celebrate the event by using the hashtag #IHOP58th whenever they eat at the restaurant on the day of its 58th anniversary. Do take note that this promotion is for dine-in customers only. If you’re going to opt in ordering your food to-go, then you would have to pay for the full price.

To recall, when the restaurant celebrated its 57th year anniversary, they also did the same thing, but of course they went with 57-cent pancakes instead if the current 58-cents. The promotion turned out to be a smashing success that the company decided to continue the tradition for this year. Therefore, you can expect that there will be 59-cent pancakes by the time the restaurant celebrates its 59th year anniversary by next year. The company also launched a brand new logo last year, giving their customers more reason to smile as they enjoy the restaurant’s delectable offerings.

The restaurant first opened its doors in Toluca Lake, California back in 1958. However, it was not until the restaurant showed some success and then it began expanding a couple of years later. After which, it then publicly traded under the name International House of Pancakes on the year 1961.

As of last year, there were 1,650 locations for IHOP across the 50 states of the United States, as well as in the District of Columbia, in Bahrain, Dubai, Canada, Kuwait, Guatemala, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and even in the Philippines. You wouldn’t be surprised as to why there are so any locations. After all, who doesn’t love pancakes?
