When you’re looking for wireless speakers that won’t put a huge dent on your spending allowance, then perhaps the Libratone Zipp Mini might tickle your fancy. It joins the ranks of the budget-friendly category for wireless speakers, and what immediately sets this apart from the rest of the competition is that it can be connected through either Bluetooth or Wi-Fi, unlike many other models that only has the latter option in terms of connectivity. Furthermore, despite its rather compact size, it is able to deliver powerful audio with a robust bass offering. Furthermore still, it can even be expanded with the use of additional speakers as it supports a multi-room setup.
There is Very Little Reason You Should Not Get the Libratone Zipp Mini
The Libratone Zipp Mini, just like its name, is a portable wireless speaker, and sports a cylindrical shape. It measures in at 8.8 x 3.9-inches for its height and width, and it weighs 2.4-pounds. It has an off-white matte plastic base that comes with a zippable and removable cloth speaker grille. Speaking of this cloth speaker grille, this is where the design choices come in as you can purchase different color variations for this. Color variations include green, light gray, dark gray, and red. There are also other swappable accessory covers, but these are sold separately as opposed to getting the base color as part of the standard package.
There is also a leather strap that can be found near the top panel, and this allows the speaker to hang on a coat hook, or somewhere else that you might prefer. Furthermore, because of the way the Zipp Mini is designed, it can project sound in a 360-degree radius. Also, you wouldn’t mind displaying it in the middle of the room, because it just looks that cool. The pattern on the surface has a repeating wavy texture, and there are cut outs for the dual 3.5-inch passive bass radiators, the 1-inch soft dome neodymium tweeter, and the upwards-firing 3-inch neodymium woofer to project the audio.
Speaking of its audio performance, the Libratone Zipp Mini offers pretty powerful volumes, albeit its rather compact appeal. When playing tracks with heavy bass content, it can deliver a lot of the low-end kick without having to worry about distortions. However, do take note that the sound experience is highly sculpted, which means that audio purists might want to turn their ears and wallets elsewhere. But for those who want a feature-packed and awesome performing wireless speaker that comes along with an amazing design, look no further.
