Running out of juice for your smartphone battery is a constant battle we have to face every day, but maybe you don’t have to, especially when you have the LinearFlux LithiumCard credit card-sized portable charger. As the name states, this portable power source is the size of a credit card, and it claims to charge smartphones at a rate of 1-percent-per-minute.
Does the LinearFlux LithiumCard Credit Card-Sized Portable Charger Live up to the Hype?
For people who regularly runs out of battery for their smartphones, the LinearFlux LithiumCard credit card-sized portable charger is indeed a great device to have at all times. So what does it do? There’s nothing really much to it except give your phone added power so that you can play more apps, text your friends more, call home, or send emails to your boss. The standard packaging includes a USB connector that is built into the device itself and it will wing out of its body. The USB connector can also be kept inside the body like it wasn’t even there. The chassis is made out of a sleek aluminum material, and it is also lightweight. There is a light found at the front which will indicate the charging status.
Just like the name says, the LinearFlux LithiumCard has a similar shape and size to that of an ordinary credit card. It measures in at 54 x 86-millimeters, but it is, however, about 5-times thicker than the traditional credit card as its thickness is at 0.6-millimeters. However, this is to be expected since it is a power source and not something you swipe around whenever you have purchases. But because of its thickness, it can be quite difficult to squeeze it into your wallet. Difficult, but not impossible; however, it also depends on the size of the wallet. If you don’t have a large enough wallet, then you can still put this power bank inside your pouch, pocket, or even your backpack.
While the charging claims might be a bit “over the fence,” the LinearFlux LithiumCard credit card-sized portable charger can still charge your smartphones pretty quickly. Instead of the advertised 1-percent-per-minute, it will come out to a rate of something like 1-percent every 2-minutes. At that rate, this portable and compact power bank is still pretty reasonable in terms of charging speed. Ultimately, this particular power source for your smartphones is dead simple to use and is pleasingly convenient to carry around.
