According to its Google Play app page, the My Music Player by Bee Group mobile application is the “best way to enjoy your music.” It is a pretty tall claim, especially when you consider the hundreds, or perhaps even the thousands of many other similar applications that have a similar claim. But what makes this particular app different from the rest is its use of a very simple and easy-to-use graphical user interface, even though it does look much like the user-interface of Spotify.
The My Music Player by Bee Group Has a Design That Takes Notes from Spotify
Despite it looking like the popular music streaming service, the My Music Player by Bee Group mobile application is a local audio file player. This means that it will only play tracks found within the device’s local directory. It does not allow for online audio streaming nor music downloading. But what it can play is a wide variety of audio file formats, including mp3, mp4, m4a, alac, wma, ogg, wav, flac, wv, ape, tta, aiff, and tta.
Other features include a quick search so you can easily rummage through your local audio files as they are categorized by albums, songs, playlists, and artists, a 5-band optimized graphical equalizer with 10-built-in tone styles based off of popular music genres, and the support for notification status. Speaking of its support for notification status feature, you will be able to control your tracks with the use of the notification status within the notification shade of your mobile device.
The My Music Player by Bee Group app also lets users create customized playlists so that you can put all of your favorite music files under a certain list, that is, if you don’t already want how the tracks are laid out to you within the app (because they will automatically be categorized by songs, artists, and albums).
As for the aforementioned 5-band optimized graphical equalizer, the 10 preset music tone styles are Normal, Dance, Classical, Flat, Heavy Metal, Folk, Jazz, Hip Hop, Pop, and Rock. The app also supports headset controls if your headphones allow for such a functionality.
Upon launch the My Music Player by Bee Group mobile application, you might get a huge sense of déjà vu, primarily because the user interface really looks like what Spotify has, albeit there are slight differences here-and-there. Nonetheless, what it brings is a solid experience in which you might just even dismiss the fact that it looks like the popular online audio streaming app.
