Samsung unveils the next chip for mid-range Galaxy phones on November 12th

While the company’s mobile profits have been soaring despite the pandemic, it still faces a market where economic hardship will limit how much customers are willing to spend. In other words, people will be more likely to buy a mid-range phone (and thus the Exynos 1080) than a premium device using the Exynos 990’s successor. In that light, it makes sense to generate buzz for a chip that could be relatively ubiquitous.Samsung
