The Skullcandy Ink’d Wireless Doesn’t Disappoint With its Price

The first thing that you will notice about the Skullcandy Ink’d Wireless is that it is very lightweight. When you’re walking around town with a collared shirt on, you will barely feel this placed around your neck. Furthermore, the band even has some flexibility to it as well, which is a good thing. Even though you may find that the earbuds seem to be a bit on the thin side, you won’t have a problem with them fraying or breaking over time, even with constant use.

As for the earbuds themselves, they are entirely made out of plastic, and once again they are very lightweight. The standard packaging ships with two sizes of silicon eartips. There is a larger set (which is the default set). It is important to do a test fit with the eartips once you first get it out of the box. This is because it is vital to get a tight seal or else the sound quality will suffer, especially when it comes to the bass performance.

Speaking of its sound quality, the Ink’d Wireless will exceed your expectations in this department. The bass and treble does not push the other areas of the audio spectrum out of the way, and even though there is not a ton of bass in tracks (sorry bass heads), it is still able to offer a decent level of clarity in the midrange and treble.

Overall, the Skullcandy Ink’d Wireless is surprisingly good, especially when you consider the many other headphones found within the same price class that do give out a lot of promises but end up having very poor performances.
