SoundMagic E10C Review – Top Quality Audio

The SoundMagic E10C is a pair of earphones that is placed in a relatively affordable price point. This is the sort that you can buy to upgrade the stock earphones that you would normally get from when you first open up the box containing your phone. If you haven’t come across with this pair, and you have a tight budget as of the moment but want to upgrade your audio listening experience, then do know this is one of those budget-friendly earphones that won’t hurt your wallet. It even has a new feature wherein there is a claver three-button remote that does work on iOS and Android devices. As for the sound quality, it sounds pretty average for a unit that’s found on such a low price class, but that’s not a bad thing on this regard.

The SoundMagic E10C Sounds Average, But That’s Not a Bad Thing

The design of the SoundMagic E10C continues the company’s tradition to have colored L/R earpiece parts, and there are those “go faster” style stripes. It is a design choice that will appease some and will let other completely walk away from it. However, what’s likeable about this pair is its use of metal earpieces. Even though the material might not please some as it can deteriorate if it’s not been looked after for quite some time, it will still most likely survive being trodden rather than making use of a cheap plastic earpiece.

As for the aspect of comfort, it is much the same as what you would get from budget earphones, even those made from Sony or Sennheiser. The E10C has a fairly wide aperture, and they perch happily on the outer area of your ear canals. Those who dislike in-ear headphones might enjoy this design choice.

Perhaps the most important part of its hardware is the inclusion of a remote. Its design is that of a familiar cylinder of aluminum, and it does have the three-button configuration that you can see on many inline remotes. However, this is one of the few that has a remote that has cross-platform support as you can use it on iPhones and Android handsets alike.

For the sound formula of the SoundMagic E10C, it does bring in some extra bass, but it’s not an audio performance that bass heads will get a kick out of. You also get a wider soundstage and a fairly decent detail in the treble. This is easily a pair of earphones that are worth their money.
