Star Wars Battlefront: Death Star is a downloadable content (DLC) for Star Wars Battlefront, and it is also known as the third and final mission. The new content is said to allow players to relive the first space battle sequence that has been found in the first Star Wars film. In the game, players would be expected to assume the role of Luke Skywalker as he pilots an X-Wing to take down the Empire’s own flying fleet. Or if you prefer, you can assume the role of Darth Vader himself as he pilots a TIE Advanced fighter. Depending on which side you choose, players can either try and blow up the Death Star, or choose to save it.

There are also other new content that comes with Star Wars Battlefront: Death Star. It is said that it will feature a new mode along with several new playable characters. Developer EA Dice had recently unveiled the sample of the Battle Station mode that is found within the new DLC, and these are said to be divided into three sections, according to a report from Gotta be Mobile.
Because the new mode in the new Star Wars Battlefront DLC was divided into three sections, each of these portions is said to have three different objectives on their own. The first of which is reported to require the player to fly into space to try and pass through a Star Destroyer’s defenses. For those within the Rebel faction, you would choose to pilot either A-wings or X-Wings to dogfight it out in space with the Imperial Army’s TIE Fighters and Interceptors.
As for the second objective, it has been reported that it will require players to extract a very important droid found within the confines of the Death Star. Additionally, players are now able to get the chance and take control of two new playable characters: Chewbacca and Bossk, according to a report from Geeky Gadgets. EA Dice had already announced in an earlier date that the new DLC will be arriving sometime this September.
It is expected that the Star Wars Battlefront: Death Star DLC will arrive with Star Cards and Blasters. EA Dice also promised to give out more information regarding the new downloadable content for Star Wars Battlefront within the near future. Star Wars Battlefront is now available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
