Sean Rad, the chief executive officer and co-founder of Tinder Social, spoke at the launch of the application and said the following as part of his statement: “Tinder Social is designed to make it as easy as possible to plan your night, get out into the real world and meet new people. The new feature takes the Tinder experience to a new level, offering our users more ways to expand their social circles and interact with potential matches.”

For many, Tinder is known as the traditional social networking application and primarily use it to meet new people. Now, it has a new avatar and a new version, the mobile application is launched to upgrade the usual chat and/or dating practice of the enthusiast of this social media platform. With the roll-out of the latest version, it brings the application to India, the United Kingdom, New Zealand, Australia, and Canada. Furthermore, it has a new group finding feature to allow users to hang out with a bunch of other people instead of just looking for “the one.”

Aside from looking for groups of friends to hang out with, you can also create your own. The maximum number of friends you can add in a particular group is three, however the hang out sessions will last until 12 noon of the following day before it expires.

With this latest version of Tinder Social, you will also be able to see other groups and chat with them easily. Should you already be part of another group, you can then swipe to compete with another group. Afterwards, any member of the other team can the swipe your group which will then merge the two groups together. Once they are merged, both groups will be able to chat with each other and then either hang out in the chat room until the session expires, or perhaps even make plans to meet up in the real world.
