Even though ZTE is stlil trying to figure out how they can conquer the smartphone market in the United States, it doesn’t mean that their own formula for its mobile products is not one to hate, especially when you count in one of their latest which is the ZTE ZMAX Pro. There are many who forget that the company has its roots in manufacturing devices for the entry-level consumer, which is a place where the firm has been comfortably competing for a quite a while now. However, even when under the budget-friendly zone, this sector is changing as we know it. Rival companies are now rigorously competing under this market in hopes to give less compromises to a smartphone while still being placed at a budget-friendly price point. This formula is still evident in ZTE’s latest offering.
The ZTE ZMAX Pro Lets Users Enjoy Great Performance With a Budget-Friendly Package
The ZTE ZMAX Pro is comfortably placed in the budget-friendly realm, and its design shows that notion. While it does look pleasingly simple, it doesn’t look, or feel, cheap. In fact, it has a soft touch finish found in its rear that adds a certain degree of grip and even a bit of luxury when holding it. Because of this finish, it even has a fairly good level of being smudge resistant.
One amazing factor for the ZMAX Pro is its size, as you would not normally see such a large-screened phone humbly placed in the low-end sector of the market. It has a 6-inch TFT LCD and that is even protected by a layer of Gorilla Glass 3. What’s even worth mentioning here is that the resolution being offered on the screen is that of 1,080 x 1,920, and this is even a rare sight that could not even be found in many mid-range handsets.
While the display is above average, looking inside and you will see that it has a value-conscious spec-sheet. The device is powered by a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor that is mated to 2GB of RAM. It also has 32GB of internal storage, and these are all nothing to write home about.
With its hardware specs, you wouldn’t be surprised how well the ZTE ZMAX Pro handles when doing the basic stuff such as texting, calling, or even posting the occasional status update on Facebook. However, don’t expect to do anything intensive on this device such as heavy multimedia editing or playing graphic intensive games.
